had a really nice stay here🏕️ The place is peaceful, the atmosphere is great, and everyone we met was really kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our time here. Just a small thing for dog owners: please keep an eye on where your dog does its business and clean it up afterwards. Sometimes the smell was quite strong, and it wasn’t always easy to find where it was coming from 😒Other than that, a lovely place and we’d definitely recommend it! 😊

One of the only campsites open this time of year! Pretty location, clean bathrooms, great restaurant on site for dinner. And €15 for a tent site.

Booked the night before we arrived in our 8m motorhome. Large site beautifully situated in a wooded area. Large plots with 10a electric. Big spacious shower/ toilet blocks, showers hot and powerful. We arrived early June, plenty of vans on site, not too many of the residential homes occupied. Quiet but laid back vibe. Large pool and smaller kids pool with onsite bar and restaurant and plenty of activities on site. Fantastic cycle path into CapBreton about 2km.away with a terrific bustling seafront and harbour. Would like to return.

All the staff we encountered were very friendly and we liked this campground but it could do with a couple of simple improvements.
Price for two people arriving on bicycles, with a small tent was €26.72 for a shared pitch with two others already on it. Although shaded, the pitch was basically lumpy grassy sand, and a bit of a hike to the bathrooms. Would be nice to have flatter smoother pitches for tents, with benches or picnic tables for slower travelers who cannot carry our own furniture with us, and some short cuts between other pitches.
There was a small room with fridge, microwave and charging points available only for slow travellers - we appreciated the offer, but we didn't use it as it was not near our pitch, just asked at the restaurant and charged our phones while we had dinner.
Pool was good except quite hot concrete surrounding.
A large group of teens in an organized camp setting had a very rowdy activity until about 11pm which seemed a bit unfair on other campers - perhaps an earlier quiet time could be requested by management.

Restaurant opposite reception had great food and lovely staff.
The map routed us to a locked gate, the entrance is around the other side.

Open All Year. The good points are the low off-season price including electricity, good facilities and reliable free WiFi. The restaurant has evening meals and takeaway pizza, but we chose a bargain lunch: a galette (substantial pancake) stuffed with cheese, ham, mushrooms and a fried egg, served with salad, bread and water, for 5 Euros each! There is a gate to a cycle path which runs alongside the site to the coast. One negative: it’s a long way to the motorhome service point for a fill of water, the tap being on the way out just before the exit.
